The jerseys for the SiS Tour de Lunsar 2022 are provided by our apparel sponsors, the British based performance cycling kit company Le Col.
The jerseys bold patterns are inspired by the traditional weave patterns of Sierra Leone. The colourful designs and premium quality of these jerseys make them some of the best cycling kit in the whole of Sierra Leone. Here are what the jerseys mean.
Yellow jersey – awarded to the leading man at the SiS Tour de Lunsar 2022. In 2021 the classification was won by Sorie Koroma. This is the second year of the iconic yellow jersey being handed to the victor.
White jersey – men’s sprint leader jersey. In 2021, Ibrahim Jalloh won this competition having won stage two and all the classification points that day.
Blue jersey – awarded to the winning woman at the SiS Tour de Lunsar 2021. In 2021 the classification was won by Isata Sama Mondeh for a second consecutive year.
Green jersey – awarded to the winner of the young rider classification at the SiS Tour de Lunsar 2021. In 2021 the classification was won by Ibrahim Kamara.
